TK Quote from Coach Josh Zoucha

TK Marshall is a program changing kind of player. On top of being an amazing football player he is a great student (3.2 gpa), and an even better human being. He cares for everyone, you could not find a person at Southwest who would say a negative word about TK. He has been a captain since his sophomore year.  He has changed our team’s off season workout culture by leading all our younger players from the Monday after the season ended until track started the last two years. He is also an elite track athlete. He went to state in the 4×200 and long jump last year. TK committed to NDSU to play football next year at running back. He has helped the team win a community service award by leading players in repairing a broken fence in our community.   TK has had an unbelievable high school career and a great senior season as he rushed for almost 1700 yards with 20 td’s averaging 10.5 yards per carry and started at OLB the whole year as well.  I believe the impact TK has had on our program will live beyond his graduation and will be seen in the results of future seasons.  He has laid the foundation of putting in the work to achieve his goals and making his dreams come true while dispelling the belief of what a kid that stays in the city can do.  TK has created a new benchmark for football at Southwest leaving as one of the best players ever.  He is the type of kid who deserves every accolade that comes his way because of who he is and how he treats others while working hard.
